Established in 2008, R R Institute of Technology (RRIT) is an autonomous institution affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. Approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC) and Government of Karnataka. RRIT is accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and earned accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for six of its programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
